Burning Man - A Week of Radical Self Expression
 'Burning Man is an Adult Playland',
a 29-Hour a day party for a week; A Globally Charged Community in the desert
of Northern Nevada.
'You can vacation in say Jamaica and see things that millions have seen
before you and millions will see after you...Or you can trek yourself & stuff to
BRC and see things that will only be available for one week to see'

2010 – There is always Burning Man
They are celebrating the 25th anniversary of Burning Man this year,
it will be my 11th trip to Black Rock City. I cannot image my life
without it.
The first 6 months of 2010 have already proven to be high in Drama
in our house, people & events, relationships and situations. I would
like to get off this Roller Coaster for a while. Part of the lesson
for me is we are not in 'Control' of anything, we react to
what the rest of the world; people do.
No matter how crazy it gets or seems, there is 'Always Burning Man',
the draw of and to Community. I hope each of you have a
Burning Man Community in your hood, a place you can call home.
Get involved in
Burning Man, make a difference in someone's playa experience, go
out on a limb, take a chance.
Playa Lessons Learned…

will be my 11th Burn & 9th serving as Camp Daddy, Benevolent
Dictator of
PolyParadise.
I apologize none for the way in which I run the camp, the decisions
I make. There is no doubt that if it was your camp; you would
run it very differently, as we all have our unique styles and
methods. I am ready for what awaits me; what awaits us all in Black Rock City 2010.

granted, It's neither an obligation or requirement - It is an
honor.

The thought of 'Giving Up Control' is easier than actually
doing so.

One of the more important lessons from this years Burn - Delegate
but not micro-manage....

What I find ethically bankrupt & morally reprehensible is normal
to someone else. Even as I encourage diversity in thinking, I
cannot ever get over that you do not find it it as appalling as
I do....

When you describe what kind of time you had, please tell me what
you did, not how fucked up you were. Leave out the words;
Smashed, Drunk, Rolling, Tripping Balls. Tell me what you did,
not how messed up you were or what your drug of choice was...
