I am a knowledgeable, dependable, 39 year old Front of House & Deck Soundman with 20 years working experience. I am well versed in all phases of live production, and I am currently freelancing in the Orlando area but I am moving to Las Vegas in August of 2003. My diversification of talents makes me equally suited for everything from large scale industrial situations to national touring, and I will do breakout rooms too. I'm extremely comfortable working with local crews and I excel in difficult situations. I am a member of IATSE local 631.

AUDIO: 

F.O.H. mixing, monitor mixing, system alignment, rigging, systems analysis, wireless troubleshooting, gain staging & midi system control. I understand the benefits of having a good working relationship between the sound department and the talent or the client.

ELECTRIC'S:

(even though I no longer work them) Dimmer patching, DMX Control, data runs & troubleshooting of same, 3 phase power, harmonics & grounding, moving light experience, repairs and followspot operation  including the carbon arc.

WORK HISTORY:

  • December 1998 - present: Freelancing on various industrials & shows for numerous clients.


  • June 2000 - August 2001: A1 on the MCI Club national tour. Full band, Dvdosc system.


  • October 1998 - December 1998: A2 on the FAME National Tour production & opening in Toronto, Canada. Duties included initial hang & instal of lighting package, integration of full touring sound system, and trouble shooting of 24 wireless units.


  • March 1998 May 1998: Deck sound for the Cannon Copiers product launch national tour.  pictures


  • August 1997-March 1998: Freelance live show sound & electric's in Orlando area, for various clients including major A/V & rental houses.  pictures


  • January 1996 August 1997: Deck sound (21 wireless units) GREASE Broadway National Tour. Duties included install, testing & maintenance of sound system, 3 video, 5 com  & up to 8 peripheral patches, F.O.H. mixing, repairs. pictures


  • 1990-1996: General technician for Walt Disney World convention division in Orlando. Duties included: sound, electric's, rigging, designing & installing for large industrials, conventions, and theme parties. pictures

  • Electronics, training in 3 phase, induction, A/C, etc, at local trade school.

  • Rigging level one master class, under Jay Glerum & Harry Donavan.
