We were in San Francisco
for 2 weeks so on our day off we went to Yosemite National Park (my favorite
place), hired a guide, & climbed "Royal Arches" which goes about 1200
feet off the ground & takes all day to complete. That's Half Dome behind
us. To me, things like this are what touring should really be all about,
since you're giving up so much in life to live on the road. It's days like
this that make it all worthwhile, when you can take something back. Sit
around the hotel & watch CNN with a hang over? Yea right!
