January's dinner is going to be
at Comedor Guadalajara in Phoenix. This is going to be
an interesting treat for us I think. It's an authentic Mexican
place, a big family-style place. They have great seafood and big
platters of meat, fish, vegetables and rice you can share among a
few people, and all the other typical Mexican dishes as well as some
more authentic stuff.
They'll be giving us our own room and expecting us from 6:30 to when
they close at 9 pm.
We'll have one tab for meals, drinks will be separate and cash only,
so bring cash if you want to drink.
It's located on Central Ave just north of the I-17, on the west side
of the street. If you're coming from the east on I-17 get off at the
7th Street exit and take the frontage west to Central and go north,
if you're coming from the west get off on 7th Avenue exit and take
the frontage east to Central and go north. It's *just* north of
I-17, so don't go too far.

Recomendations are the *Mediterranean*, and the *thai-chicken*.
lots of people like the *bbq* (bbq-chicken and bacon) one as well.
The Sicilian is swell, also.
its a little bit pricey though, so watch what you order if you're
on a budget. $7 - $9 for a personal pizza is the average, beers
are like $3 & $4 and the desserts are wonderful.
the owners are from hacienda del sol, so it's like *gourmet*. |
