1990 Ford Probe GL. AKA Old Blue.
Accepting bids on this once-faithful companion.
Automatic transmission. Car probably has over 130,000 miles (odometer
didn't work for a while). Needs more work that I care to do. Lots of
body damage, maybe a bent frame, hatchback doesn't lift up, lousy paint
job. Suspension sounds awful and car pulls to the right or left,
depending on what day it is. Leaks every fluid imaginable. It's on its
second transmission (from the junk yard). No stereo (it got stolen).
Sometimes won't start in Park (an intermittently bad neutral safety
switch). Brakes just gave out. BUT... A/C works (after converting to
R-134), and it has four good 195/70R14 tires (one brand new) and a good
mini-spare. Clean title. I was going to donate it to charity, but if you
want it and can haul it off before about 2/12/05 (or before the
apartment manager has it towed), contact me. Location: near Thunderbird
and Cave Creek (North Phoenix). Minimum bid: a bottle of good scotch,
because I'm all out.
