Fiesta De Los Muertos, a Halloween Costume Carnivale to benefit the All Souls Procession

You're invited to an evening of fire, feasting and frolic to benefit the All Souls' Procession. Featured performers include the Flam Chen Pyrotechnic Theatre Troupe, those crazy freaks the Clown Band, world-beat/reggae/jazz/rock fusion band Buddhatech, and bellydancing by Diosa. Other local fire dancers and performers will be present for your delectation, including our lovely GiGi-D L'Amour and Clayton.

Friday, October 22nd at 8 pm, and the address is 3121 N. 27th Place in Phoenix (a cul-de-sac just off of Thomas & 28th St., just north of Earll).

Please wear your freakiest playa getup (unfortunately, since this is a mixed party, I can't allow nudity, but everything else goes - the more far-out and fantastic, the better!) and bring treats, tasty beverages (alcoholic & non) and your drums (& other instruments) if you have them, since we'll be doing a drum circle for the fire performers and possibly the bellydancers.

This will be an 18 & over event.

Parking will be tight so please park along Earll or surrounding streets, not on the cul-de-sac itself. There will be floor space for crashing, and about five couches and two fold-outs on a first come first serve basis. If you *really* want to pitch a tent there will be space to do so, but we'll ask that you wait until the party is winding down to do this, as we'll need extra space for bodies when the party is in full swing.

Admission is a $10 donation at the door, and all proceeds will benefit the All Souls Procession, an annual arts event that draws thousands of costumed revelers and puppeteers to downtown Tucson to celebrate Dia De Los Muertos. It costs the organizers some $15,000 to put the parade on every year, and the depend completely on private donations. (More info at All Souls Procession

Feel free to pass the invite on to any and all friends - the more that come, the more money we will raise for this fabulous event.
