Get a little crazy New Years Eve in the artsy mountain mining town of Bisbee in southeastern Arizona!!!

Bisbee’s filled with antique shops, B & B’s and, of course, bars!.. all within walking distance of each other – no worries about drinking and driving. Town parades are usually at 11am & 5pm on the 31st. Late evening, there’s a spontaneous gathering in the triangle park on Brewery Gulch with drums, impromptu fire spinning and about 300 people shouting in the new year – warm scaled down playa attire fits the night.

Last year, WindPipe and The Clown Band played at one of the bars and a group of burners took over a B & B and watched the sun rise. Bisbee accommodations fill up around November 1st, so get off your duff and make your reservations… QUICKLY!

It’s not officially sponsored, so there’s little if any info on the Bisbee Chamber of Commerce website, but there is lodging information at Bisbee Chamber of Commerce

Here's an article on a past New Years eve in Bisbee:

Places To Stay:

"The Shady Dell"

If you are going to Bisbee on New Years and looking for a place to stay, or a better place to stay. Check out the following link "Bisbee Arizona" Then select Lodging, there are lots of really cool places to stay down town, and pretty cheap.

I have rented a house in the Historic District of Bisbee for the weekend of New Years. Its not that big, but better than a hotel. It is only $129.00 for two nights. There is also an old Jail House that is now an old hotel.

You can also call Bisbee Reality - 520-432-5439, and tell them you are looking for a place to rent on New Years and they have a book of places available. Hope to see ya all there.
